Privileged users are assigned special rights and the use of the account must be monitored and managed. It is usually difficult for administrators to create privileged accounts, provision them and then de-provision after the allocated time period, resulting in open accounts and privileges which may be misused if the account is compromised. Automated management will allow strict control of privileged accounts.
